Shawn and Mike,
I just wanted to pass along my thanks and admiration for the tireless effort
you guys put into promoting NH (and now New England) baseball players. My
son Joe was fortunate enough to play in the Showcase League over the past 3
years and he received a tremendous amount of exposure to college programs
here in the Northeast.
I will not bother repeating all of the great and very accurate comments
already posted, but I will mention an important thing I learned about the
recruiting process and how you guys and your program fit into it. On a
couple of occasions during Joe’s recruiting process, I was told by respected
D1 coaches/recruiters that the Fall Showcase League had become a very
valuable, time saving program for them. The weekend doubleheader format
gives them the opportunity to evaluate a number of players they have on
their follow lists, and potentially see one they had not heard of yet.
Additionally they explained that they respect your opinions/evaluations of
players and that if you guys suggest that a particular player has potential
to play at their level, they will come out and watch. The fact is that
college coaching staffs here in the Northeast have quickly discovered how
valuable the Showcase League is as a fall recruiting tool.
I also wanted to thank you for the guidance you provided my son during his
recruiting process. You guys were willing to take his calls, answer his
questions and offer valuable advice to him as his recruitment heated up and
deadlines were thrust upon him. I know as Joe moves along with his baseball
career he will always look back and remember the Fall Showcase League as the
program that helped prepare him for baseball at the next level.
I love your tag line – “Playing Here Will Help Get You There!” – it couldn’t
be more accurate!
All the best for continued success,

When I stumble across something that is truly outstanding and above the norm I always feel incumbent to speak up and recognize those efforts. Such is the case with you and your Fall Showcase League.
As a former Division I Player, high school coach, NECBL Coach and the father of two college bound sons hoping to play baseball in college the challenge is always “recognition/to be seen” by potential college coaches, especially while living here in Maine. I truly believe your Fall Showcase league is that next step for these players.
1) the league is filled with young and energetic coaches.
2) the talent pool is a multi state blending of the best and most passionate baseball players.
3) On a weekly basis, players are given the opportunity to play on some of the best college fields found throughout new england and more importantly, these players will perform in front of many college coaches gathered for the sole purpose of watching them play and in search for prospects.
4) Technology is utilized for up to date statistical record keeping and game day live streaming.
5) Season concludes with an All Star game to truly test each player and gain a clearer understanding of one’s talent level.
All and all, this Fall Showcase League is “a must” for any serious college bound baseball player. Test yourself!

Shawn, thank you for organizing the Showcase League. Adam had a great experience last fall. The facilities, coaching, organization, and baseball was of the highest quality. He also received alot of positive exposure to the many college coaches in attendance. He can’t wait to play in your league again this fall. Thanks again.

We would like to give many Thanks to you all, Shawn, Mike, Steve, Nick, Colin and the Coaching Staff at the Showcase League!! You guys are the Best!!!
Shawn, thanks to you and your entire staff for a great season. The Fall Showcase League is outstanding and was the highlight baseball experience of the year for my son. The quality and value of the experience is unmatched.
We can’t say enough about the Showcase League program and we have been promoting it for the past three years. Having watched you expand from a starter program to where it is today with teams thoughout Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire says a lot about the need for this type of program. There are so many good Student Athletes and a program like this makes it easier for Colleges to really get a chance to watch them play, many times right on their own campus. Zach loved playing for the Showcase League program and is very thankful that he was part of your program for three years. He got to see a number of College Campuses and met many College Coaches. Your support and commitment to Zach’s future opened up conversations for us with many different colleges. We learned a lot about the recruiting process and are truely thankful for all of your help.
We thank you and wish you nothing but continued success !

Ever since the fall league concluded I had been meaning to contact you to thank you for the excellent job you guys do organizing and running the program. Nick had a great time playing in the league and we know you put his name out there to college coaches and had promoted him as a good collegiate prospect.
Your program does so much more than most other programs that claim to get players noticed and in front of college coaches. Nick received several calls and letters from college coaches. We never saw that level of interest after attending any expensive showcase.
Nick had been contacted last June by the Baseball coach of the US Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point NY. They are a Div 3 team and play in the Landmark Conference. After listening to all the wonderful opportunities that academy students experience as well as a full 4 year scholarship and the fact that the Mariner Baseball team is graduating all three of their catchers, Nick will have an excellent chance to start behind the plate or at 3rd as a freshman. The coach has really made Nick feel wanted and continues to talk with him on a regular basis. Nick feels that he couldn’t have found a better fit and accepted in Dec. He is really excited about playing for the Mariner’s.
We wish you continued success with your program and will feel good referring your program to other NH players and families.

Hats off to you and your staff for organizing and running the Showcase League. This is the best quality baseball my boys have ever played in, including AAU, high school, and legion. I loved just sitting there and watching the games, especially the quality of the pitching.
Ryan loved playing in this league. He had a great time playing with such high caliber teammates and opponents, and at such good colleges and ball parks. He made friends with excellent baseball players from different high schools that he would never have had an opportunity to meet. He talks about it constantly, and can’t wait until next season starts.
The competitiveness of this league certainly raised his level of play and gave him the desire to work harder for next season. The coaching, instruction, and practices with such high quality teammates improves everyone’s game. Plus the extra clinics you run for the players, such as Colin Lynch’s pitching clinic, are a fantastic opportunity for all the players.
Also, let’s not forget the main purpose of your league. The exposure for the players to so many colleges and coaches from D1, D2, and D3 programs is such a great opportunity. It’s so important, because the boys actually start thinking about college, which is a bonus for us parents of the boys of summer.
You guys have really done a lot for baseball in NH.

Hi Shawn, I just wanted to thank you for all the hard work you guys put into the kids and also built his confidence going into his final Varsity season at Goffstown.
Although he has not committed to a College yet he has been in contact with several, and the showcase website has helped these coaches to stay updated on his progress.
Again Thank you the showcase is one of the better leagues that he has played in.
Father of Colby, Goffstown 2010
First I would like to extend my thanks to you, Shawn, and the rest of The Showcase League for the incredible job you do. I think out of all the baseball teams Nick plays on, he loves the Showcase the best. You guys seem to go above and beyond to get the best for these kids…I know we could invest thousands of dollars (money that we really don’t have) through various showcases and recruiters to promote Nick, but would not get the same personal interest that you and Shawn invest in these players.

Hi Mr. Manfredo,
We just wanted to thank you for everything….this was not only a great experience or PJ (and great exposure), but it was alot of fun for all of us.
PJ and his younger brother Jeff have been playing baseball since they were about 3 yrs old – we’ve played AAU and done alot of traveling over the years (Jeff is still playing AAU – year # 6 between the 2 of them). We’ve had so many great experiences and alot of fun. It has kept my family very close and well bonded. While playing on this league, we’ve been getting a lot of emails from college coaches and I can’t tell you how much this means to PJ. He understands that education comes first, and baseball is a bonus – but I don’t think in good conscience we could send him to a school where he couldn’t play baseball, so we’re hoping for the best of both worlds.
Playing on this team and with your organization was like the icing on the cake. I know you put alot of time and effort into this – and it shows.
Again, we really just wanted to thank you and let you know how much we appreciate everything you have done for PJ. I’m hoping in a couple of years my younger son will be able to play as well.
Mother of PJ, Timberlane 2010
I was suppose to send you those e-mail addresses and didn’t, but you went ahead anyway. Just another example of why you guys are awesome. Tom’s confidence level is so much higher after having been with you guys and it shows on and off the field. Thank you for all you have done and will continue to do.
You should know that you did more , in one fall season, to help prepare Tom for the possibility of playing college baseball than anyone during the course of his career. Several coaches contacted him and even though he did not go to those schools it was a thrill to hear from them.
All because of your group. Thanks again for your help!
The Showcase League baseball program is outstanding! For years, I had been frustrated by the lack of commitment and level of competition in the fall baseball offerings. The Showcase League program features the highest level of competition available in fall baseball as well as providing a showcase opportunity for players to be seen by many Northeast area college baseball coaches as well as providing the opportunity to play ball on several excellent baseball fields. In my opinion, the Showcase League fall baseball program is a must for any high school baseball player who has aspirations of playing at the college level. I would happily take calls to speak to any high school ballplayer or his parents to talk about the impact the program had on Kyle’s college baseball direction.

Our son, Taylor Eames, has participated in many baseball leagues over his youth. These programs have ranged from AAU to School sponsored programs in middle school and high school. Playing for the Showcase League in the Fall of 2008 was his very best experience with baseball. The coaches were superb and knew how to motivate the players to the next level of competition. Each of the coaches took a genuine interest in the athletes, not only with their physical play on the field, but the players’ hopes and dreams with baseball and furthering their baseball careers. As a parent, I knew that Taylor was being instructed well and was having a positive experience playing the sport with other athletes that wanted to excel at this game. It was a great experience for the entire family.
Taylor was recruited for college baseball from one of the showcase games that was held at SNHU last fall. It was not only exciting for him to have this happen, but gave him the confidence that he needed to know that he has the skills to go further with the sport and play ball well at the college level. In a nutshell, the Showcase League is far superior to any other program our family has participated in baseball. Thank you for all you have done for Taylor and we wish you the best of success going forward with more athletes.

My son Garrett participated in 2008. It’s a great program, because it prolonged his baseball season, sharpened his skills, gave him the opportunity to play with guys from various high schools and gave him that needed exposure a player needs if he wants to play college ball. The Showcase League was directly responsible for Garrett getting invited to several collegiate showcases, it is definitely worth the time and money.
